2025 Chiang Mai: Happy Ending Massage
I am gonna ask you all a straightforward question.
No matter how far you are from your family, can there be a particular reason that you don’t really wanna hangout with them anymore? Maybe they rejected you, or you came out to them about being gay, and then they disowned you? Or perhaps you have a single mother, whose husband went to get milk and never came back. But truly, do you still hang out with your parents and siblings?
Luckily for me, our relationship is… complicated. I have two sisters, who were both born in 1995 and 1999 consecutively, and here I am, I was born in 2002. We’re living very far apart, but that one night in September, I asked my mom whether they (my parents) would like to go on a vacation, on a trip with me to Chiang Mai. So why Chiang Mai?

- It’s been a while since I’ve been to Thailand, so I wanna go there, but I don’t think about going to Bangkok because it’s too mainstream.
Christmas Eve - 24 December 2025
The Flight to Chiang Mai
My company is really nice and gave us an early off because it’s Christmas Eve! So my flight departed at around 16.45 Hong Kong Time and landed at around 18.30 GMT+7. Before the flight, I was thinking of buying an e-book reader. But the time was too tight, so after leaving work, I showered, cleaned up my room because I’m going to leave it for several days, went downtown to exchange some Thai currency, and headed directly to the Airport.

Immigration is super fast and efficient. I think it makes sense because Chiang Mai is a place where thousands of tourists come and go every day. The airport is relatively small and homey; it’s not one of these fancy highway-facing airports like Soekarno Hatta, no. I saw a motorbike pass by once in a while. Saving money was my intent, but I still ordered a car so I could confirm that traffic and air are motorbike-friendly.
I dropped by the Hotel where my family and I will stay for the next 4 days, We Briza Hotel. It’s located next to a market. The front entrance of the hotel is weirdly placed.

Taken from Google Maps, here’s the front view of the hotel. Now that I felt everything was alright, I ordered a bike and headed to Warorot Market, or Saturday Market, or something. I can’t recall the name, but it should be around there.
Bike Driver part of the Thai Army
When I got the driver, I saw his profile picture wearing this. “Wow, this guy is asserting dominance over his passengers”, I thought. This is gonna be a fun ride and something that will have its own section on my blog. That’s what I thought. But, it was just the beginning.

So he came with this dope looking motorbike.

This exact same brand and color, the Drone Keyless S, with Pornhub, Brazzers, and some sites’ stickers, which I can’t recall, on the front glass. Super interesting, I talked with him, a super nice guy. I saw he was chatting with someone, and we eventually talked about family. He showed me his phone wallpaper, it was him with a very cute blonde-haired caucasian, whose appearance, subjectively for me, is super cute and pretty. Yeah, so believable, Hocky. But that’s the fact, guys.

The Night at The Market
Super thirsty, I arrived, and the first thing that I bought was this sweet coconut smoothie. As an Indonesian, I would call them “Santan”, but it has a very funny connotation, because we don’t just drink santan, we use it as a cooking ingredient. So drinking santan isn’t something you would usually do; it’s just funny when someone says “drinking santan”.
My family and I met, gathered, and I was walking around looking for some food. A case that I always met is that if you feel like a food is unique or special to that place, you’ll think “definitely should be the first thing you eat when arriving”, I feel like you can calm your dick and chill, because there are literally people everywhere selling the same thing. It’s similar to when you’re coming to Hong Kong to get Fish Siu Mai and not realizing people sell it everywhere.
As a traveller, people would know this, but unlike me, I always had that hype, and without thinking, comparing prices, comparing stalls, I would just randomly visit the appointed food stall and order one!

Here’s the first meal in Chiang Mai, Pork Meatball Khao Soi! One is never enough, so I also went around there, and got myself a crocodile meat satay and fried gyozas. Yes crocodile… Never have I regretted this for the rest of the trip, because this is the last time I’d see people selling crocodile meat in Chiang Mai!
🐊: Buy buy, we have BBQ
😈: Is this…
🐊: Yes, Kwokodai
😈: wtf.png…
🐊: Laughing
😈: Laughing Nervously

The meat is chewy, the texture is lamb-like, but the flavor is snake-like; it has soft bones and cartilage everywhere. Nearby, I saw some cute drags and trans women promoting their Cabaret show, which Thailand is famous for. They’re giving away some of these pamphlets. I caught up with my family after walking around. My father is a die-hard fan of the Hard Rock Cafe brand; he collects all these Worldwide Hard Rock T-shirts with the city’s name printed on them. While I was walking around the area, they were busy doing transactions inside the cafe. I regathered with my sister, and I asked her to try the satay.
😈: Try this
🌈: I saw this
😈: Saw what?
🌈: hahaha I wanted to buy this too
😈: Bought what? Try this, it’s pork
🌈: I know what this is
😈: I swear it’s pork
🌈: hahaha I know what this is
Lol, I was trying so hard to make her bite the entire meat, but she didn’t buy it. We walked around some more, and I bought some fermented meat, coconut, fried scorpion, and Chiang Mai sausage. I bought the cabaret show tickets for my second sister and me. Each is about

I talked with some of them who came from the US, London, and Korea, and everywhere around the world. I can’t understand why people from the West just have this wild soul. Unlike some of us from Asia, we’re more the working-hard-and-sticking-to-yourself type of guys! Stereotypes that I feel are true until now. That’s why I really am dreaming of going to the West someday. What a Christmas night!
Walk Around Chiang Mai - 25 December 2025
This particular day is too special because I get to reconnect with my annoying, but in spite of that, I still miss them so much. We took a สองแถว Songthaew, an open-air vehicle also known as Rod Daeng (รถแดง), meaning “red car” in Thai. Which has side seats, just like the vehicles you see used to carry prisoners. 5 of us travelling to the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a buddhist temple.

The view there is quite nice; it was breezy, but because of the sunny weather, it’s a bit hot up there. It has a big golden structure in the main building, and people are reading prayers and gathering around it. Other than that, nothing much interesting. Oh, except for a big jackfruit near the temple.

Going down from the temple, which is a good 40 minutes, and went into a northern Thai dish restaurant.

The dishes are something like this. One thing I noticed is that the food is very earthy, meaty, and has flavors without much spice, unlike Indonesian food. The food was good, according to me, though it wasn’t warm, so it felt a bit uncomfortable. Having a good lunch and time to walk around. I saw these coconut crepes, in Indonesian, it’s similar to Semprong, but becek. Becek is an untranslatable Indonesian adjective. But I’d say the closest word is “soggy”.

This, I’d say would easily be in the top 5 desserts in Thailand that I’ve tried. I also get a cup of Thai Tea Coffee, I forget what the name is. But it’s one of the best drinks in MY LIFE! It tastes like Thai Tea, but it has this roast coffee taste. Walked around the market and I found this bizarre chocolate shop that sells curry chocolate!

After walking around, we had a rest for a while, enjoying some coconut water, emptied our piss tank, and booked a taxi to the old city of Chiang Mai, Wat Chedi Luang to be exact. We made our way to the east gate of the square, and see the cool brick walls.

By the way, there are things that I figured out about the supply and demand of happiness. Kevin Anggara just now said something about whether he wants to live in Japan or Indonesia. He answered something along the line like “I wanna live in Indonesia so that I can have fun in Japan.” But the thing about it is how this actually has a connection with coconut water. I really love coconut water. The frequency of coconut water purchases that I made in Hong Kong is not low. Even at a certain period, it was arguably unhealthy. Once, I bought like 2 liters a day for a month.
Every single soul in this universe knows that Thailand is the world’s leading coconut exporter. Every coconut product that’s available here in Hong Kong was brought from Thailand. But in Thailand, I don’t drink coconut water all the time. Well, still bought it once or twice a day, but the fondness for coconut doesn’t increase even though I’m literally at the very source of coconut products.

Please take as many photos of these flowers as you can, because you won’t get to see flowers like this every day. They say flowers always make women happy. But my flowers? They make literally everyone happy. Except kids. Maybe I should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
I saw a Marijuana shop with its homegrown farm. Well, don’t get me started talking about happiness. For me, it’s a dilemma whether I want to stay in my comfort zone or step out of it. Knowing the facts that I already know is enough, but will it truly ever be enough for me? The fact that I’m 23 and people keep asking me to take risks is just too tiring for me. Aren’t there people who are just chilling in their 23s, enjoying life and work in a place for years without moving? Can I simply stop looking and truly know what I want?
If I truly am super rich now, will I stop working and just travel around the world every day? Will I start to lose my purpose? Okay, let’s make a special section in this blog, because at that time I was looking at this Marijuana sign, I truly am wondering. If money is not a problem for me, what’s my limit?
What if I have an unlimited amount of Money
Have you ever thought of having an unlimited amount of money yourself? If I have it, I’ll:
I’ll first change my nationality to a better one so I can travel more easily around the world. Of course, nationality by investment. I’ll buy a very nice penthouse in Japan and will stay there starting from tomorrow.
I’ll start picking away at things that have sentimental value, are unique or customized, or are still useful to me. The rest—ones that I can just rebuy in the future—I will throw them away. For every trip that I do, I’ll get a First Class ticket. I will buy some of the most expensive jewelry. I will first store my things in Japan. I wanna make it my main hub, and yes. I’m gonna make Asia my base for the rest of my life. I’m also gonna buy a penthouse in Istanbul, London, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Singapore, Mauritius, Reunion Island, Hawaii, and Bangkok.
I don’t know, I’ll just make a school franchise and fund edge-cutting researchers. I don’t have a big dream. I just want to enjoy life. I don’t even know what I’d do if I had unlimited money.

Both my parents and my eldest sister went to sit in the cafe near the gate, while my older mid sister and I went for a walk.

This is the path we take to our next destination, the Old Chiangmai Cultural Center, where we will enjoy a traditional Khantoke dinner show. There are cool things around, people selling snacks, restaurants, traditional clothes rental, a shooting range, small markets, and many more. It was a really fun afternoon walk. We talked about life, again—at this point, I feel like my sister is now frustrated enough with my quarter-life crisis questions AHAHAHA. I was asking her where she was when she was 23, how she feels working abroad, what her 2026 gonna be like, whether she wants any changes or not, and her love life. Her answer is just what I expected, but she delivered it confidently. It’s more like the combination of “I’ll just follow where life takes me” and “I’m not sure about the future”. But that’s fine. After that dinner, it was already pretty late, so we all went back home. There are some 18++ stories that I wanted to tell, but my parents would kill me if they read this. Mom, Dad, sorry.
Happy Ending Massage
I was always curious about what it felt like getting stroked in the dick and an adult massage service. So after that dinner, I went out at 22, and took a bike to a club, drank, and interacted with some people there. I’m not drunk and not feeling like drinking because ugh, my stomach feels so tired from eating so much. After that, I went to a massage called Miyabi. A session costs
I’m gonna describe what happens from the beginning until the end as accurately as possible. So initially, I was going to a place called 69 NURU MASSAGE, but the grab driver said, “Do you want to fuck?” I thought, like hell, yeah, let’s fuck. The grab driver brought me to this place called MIYABI, and reaching the receptionist, he said something to the reception girl in Thai, something like “fuck fuck fuck”— Maybe like this, sorry, I don’t speak Thai. She showed a menu-like book and asked me to pick the girl. There were around 6 normal and 3 “pretty” ones. The pretty ones are a bit more expensive. I never fucked a girl before in my whole life—Not implying that I’ve fucked a boy. But I definitely don’t wanna get some stupid random STD, definitely not today, I thought.
So I’m going for the pretty model. I picked this cute girl called Poodle—Name’s redacted, of course *wink. She’s a local, and it definitely was not a very pleasant experience for both of us. The thing is like: It was SO FUCKING AWKWARD. We went upstairs, I was asked to shower first, so we showered together, she rubbed my penis, and GOD it was so TICKLISH. I can’t handle it.

😈: Laughing awkwardly
🌈: What?
😈: Haha it’s ticklish
🌈: haish, just do it your own
Lol, we were like a real-life couple or something. It was really funny, cute, but super awkward, lol. So she told me to lie down in the bed.
🌈: Lie down
😈: Should I face down or face up
🌈: Looking at me with a super serious eye
I mean, I know you’re going to stroke my cock, but I still don’t know whether you’re gonna massage my back first or rub my cock first, right? So, apparently, there was never a back rubbing.
😈: OMG, you’re so cute
🌈: Can I lick your nipple
😈: Oh yea sure
That was definitely not the right answer. She licked it so furiously I couldn’t help but yield and shout because it was super ticklish. She stopped licking….
🌈: What’s so funny?
😈: Haha, it feels good
🌈: Why do you keep laughing
😈: It’s ticklish HAHAHHAH
And then she started to put a condom on my penis and sucking it. It was…. just OK. After that, she just hand-jobbed me so furiously with her left hand. I was asking whether she has a boyfriend or not.
😈: If you don’t mind answering, do you have a boyfriend?
🌈: Thinks a bit, No
😈: Really? You’re so pretty
🌈: Thank you, but some of us also don’t have a boyfriend
😈: If you were my girlfriend, I wouldn’t feel bad
🌈: What do you mean?
😈: I think working so hard as well here
🌈: Really?
😈: Yeah, I think it’d be fine. How long have you been working here?
🌈: 3 years
I orgasmed, and then she cleaned me. I sat behind her, and we chatted some more… Super weird, but I ended up massaging her instead. Because she said her back feels a bit sore. Anyway, I wasn’t really looking for pleasure when I visited this place. I just want to talk with someone. To be honest, I’ve been feeling super crazy these past few weeks, sleeping only 4-5 hours for the past few days before coming to Thailand because of some personal serious reasons—I will tell it probably in the future, also in one of my blogs, but not now. I’ve been having my quarter-life crisis, I feel.
- She worked from 6 PM to 3 AM.
- She usually just booked a Grab bike back.
- She has a dreamcatcher tattoo on her back; she got it 2 years prior.
- She got breast implants, C-cup, because she felt they were too small before.
- The breast implant scar is right under the breast; it’s invisible when she wears a bikini
- She said she doesn’t feel horny when making someone happy.
- I asked her, sometimes though, when fucking she’d feel horny.
- I told her that I wanna have a tattoo too, but I don’t wanna have it for now because I still wanna visit public baths in Japan.
After that, there is serious blabbering beside our room. Apparently, there is this sex maniac who has been sexing for 2 hours straight, with two girls, has been taking strong pills, and has now just passed out. Because of him, Poodle told me to pack up my things and go before the ambulances and police arrive. For that particular person, I just wanna say I hope he’s okay, and screw you. I wish I could’ve sucked Poodle’s nipple before we ended our session 😡.
Chiang Rai! - 26 December 2025
Because the previous night I went back home at about 3 AM, I got super sleepy today. My family and I were planning to go to Chiang Rai today. It was a very long trip; it took only about 3 hours to reach the center of Chiang Rai. The worst thing is that about 7-8 hours of today gonna be spent solely on travelling. I was starting to regret not buying the E-reader sooner. As it was a bit boring. But because I didn’t get enough sleep the previous night, I slept the entire car ride. My mood wasn’t particularly good today, so I was avoiding my photo maniac mom. Lol. If you read this, sorry mom, but I was just in the mood for sightseeing and not really in the smile and shoot part.
The first destination was this long-necked village. There are apparently refugees from Myanmar, the Kayan people, they call. I didn’t take any pictures of them, because it feels very wrong. It feels like a human museum there. It was said that it was not their neck that expanded, but their shoulder went down. So they look kinda like a bowling pin—damn, I feel bad for writing this sentence.
But anyway, my family took a good number of photos of them. There are ethical dilemmas hitting me, https://globe-drifters.com/karen-long-neck-village-ethical-issues/, which further confirmed that I wasn’t the only one feeling this way. Anyway, after that, we took a break at a hot spring. I bought a boiled egg cooked directly in the hot spring and a roti canai from a small shop nearby.

We visited the golden and white palace. It was a Buddhist-like temple, not 100% purely aesthetic. I recall the lead artists of these temples are leaning towards the beauty and contemporary side of art.
After that, we had lunch, which was a buffet; I saw that the buffet was supposed to be “Halal”. But they have Nam Ngiao, spicy noodle soup with chicken blood, which, as far as I studied, is not Halal.
After that, we went to the Blue Temple, prioritizing life. I bought the local blue ice cream first!

It was made with Blue Pea flower, and yes, it tasted like coconut. The temple was nothing in particular special, but the views are nice. Then we went to visit a village-like traditional museum, they have this animal remains whose skins and bodies are used as carpets, displays and antique items.

I saw people lining up coins on the top of this wolf’s head. It was so funny, creepy, and uncanny at the same time. After that, we went to visit the Golden Triangle, it was the border of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. The tour guide’s explanation was super good, we saw some landmarks from afar: The Kings Romans Casino, The Hall of Opium, and many more.

Yes, there are conversations about whether there are people or unwanted crossings between these borders, but then again, I bet there must be, because come on! Going back from Chiang Rai is very far, it’s already late when we arrived, it was 10 PM. We’re a bit scared because the driver drove the car super fast! I think it hit 100kmph at certain periods.
Arrived back in Chiang Mai, we bought some fruits, and of course, the kokopable coconut, and a lovely pomegranate I bought! My father and I debated with my mom, saying that when eating pome, we should also consume the seeds. But that was settled because apparently, mom told us that back in the village, Pomegranate’s seed was so thick and chonky that it’s almost impossible to bite.

Doi Inthanon National Park - 27 December 2025

The first destination was this very breezy and sprinkly waterfall. The water spurts everywhere, and I remember it was a bit cold around there and coffee the wind is quite strong. After that, we went to a nearby coffee farm, and there were literally people planting and drying coffees everywhere.
We went for a rest in a small cafe and shop nearby, they served us free local tea and coffee testing.

I forget which is which, but if I remember correctly:
- Medium roast local coffee
- Coffee shell tea (it tasted so horrible and tangy, I don’t like it)
- Chrysanthemum + something, I forget
- Butterfly pea tea

In the same shop, I stole these two wet coffee beans from my dad—I believe he picked some on the way here when we walked to this cafe. I recall the taste is slightly sweet, but there’s nothing particularly special. My mom also bought me fresh rolled tobacco lol. After the coffee break, we had lunch.

And then we visited the highest peak in Thailand, it’s COLD there! hahaha. I didn’t wear thick clothes, but it’s fine. There are some big parks, stone paths, and wood bridges we can go around. I talked to some of the visitors there. There are some from California, a german solo travellers, and a group from South Africa, I just learned that there are white people in South Africa. I thought they were all black! But it turns out the Black Africans are estimated at around ~81% of the population, which is not very big! And with that, I also picked up some Apartheid lessons that happened decades ago in South Africa.
After that, we visited the twin temples. Nothing special, and after that we went back to the city quite early! We visited the weekend markets and had gooood foods there!

After having the meal, we walked around and went to try the snacks. I remember there is this “ancient snack” as it was promoted, and they only sell in packs of 10, for 40 baht, I think.

I asked whether I could just buy one, and the old uncle allowed it! hahaha It was really good. Next time I come there, I will buy more of this. We also visited the silver temple. We came across a sort of ceremony, and I had myself tied with the luck charm by the monk. It doesn’t last long lol, the next morning I had it untied because I felt uncomfortable. But yeah, I didn’t cut it because I kinda had this whole superstition vibe surrounding me.
After that temple, we found another food court with lots of seafood. But we’re already super full! There we also met one of my relatives—I think it was my mom’s older aunt, and her Thai husband! haha. It was so unreal actually hearing the husband spoke Thai!

I found that this Thailand Trip very… “melepas rindu”
There are things that make me feel wholesome that I didn’t mention here too, and it feels nice to say it while I was in the trip
I Bought my Mom Things
So it’s the first time meeting my parents after about 7 months! I miss them a lot. We’ve been communicating a lot through video calls, and it’s nice to finally meet them again! I bought my mom a smart watch, and she would send me her sleep analysis once in a while. It’s just nice to know that mom would actually finally care about her nutrition and sleeping habits—unlike me…
I also bought her some new clothes from China. They are cheap, pretty, and comfy!
I think Prostitution is …
There is something wrong about prostitution; the rate is super high for people who want to have instant fun, but I realized there is more than just being happy and having sex. Doing this is a very unhealthy way to get happiness. It has very high risks and is not good for your mental well-being as a whole.
So probably I would avoid this thing in the future. I probably should get myself a partner very soon though.
If You Never Ask, You’ll Never Know
I know in Cantonese, making love is 扑嘢. But, in Teochew, it’s called 相扑 (sio phu), which literally means pounding each other. Which I think is very unique. I dared to ask my parents about it!
