Paradox of Being Known

1 min read
Life

Do you know why people can write such mean comments, like "Go Yill Kourself", "Go Hot in Rell", or something? It's because they do not know each other in real life, and most likely, they will never have to meet. Their life won't cross paths, and no work will be done together. Thus, conflicts won't have to be avoided.

The same case applies to opinions, political preferences, sexual orientations, gender expressions, AI stance, harassment definitions, and religious beliefs. But this changes when you make friends, when you start making connections with one another. Your opinions now matter; they are being judged.
